Frequently asked questions
Compassionate Listening is a private, one-on-one session where clients can talk openly in a safe, respectful space. Sessions are guided by a board-certified nurse practitioner and offer faith-informed emotional support, reflective conversation, and compassionate presence. This service is not medical care, therapy, or coaching—it’s a non-clinical way to be seen, heard, and gently supported. Available virtually or in select senior living communities.
Unlike general conversation or informal support, Listening Support is led by a licensed nurse practitioner trained in emotional wellness and guided by faith-informed care. This means clients are supported by someone who brings not only empathy and presence, but clinical awareness and professional discretion. While sessions are non-clinical, clients benefit from insight that recognizes when further support or resources may be needed.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 business hours in advance to avoid a fee. Cancellations made within one business day of the appointment will be charged 50% of the scheduled session fee. Missed appointments or same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the session fee. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply.
